It has been over 15 years since I last saw Kasie. We were softball teammates. All of my memories of Kasie flood back to our softball era. You see, Kasie was an awesome pitcher! I was glad of it too, because I had been pitching for most of my life, but preferred the outfield. When Kasie came along (since she was a much better pitcher than me), she got the pitching position and I was able to go to the outfield. Kasie had a passion for softball and it showed on the field. The team knew that we never had to worry about the pitching because Kasie had it down to a science. (I think that I can hear Bobby & Brenda cheering in the background now!) The whole personality and dynamics of the team worked great together and Kasie was an awesome teammate to have!!

Kasie, I pray for the comfort of your family. I pray that they will take comfort in the fact that you no longer have your headaches. I pray that everyone that knew you will strive to live a better life, be kind, supportive, loving and charitable as you were during your brief live on earth. I take comfort in the fact that you are with God. You are probably smiling in heaven, telling God that is "the Best Ever!" Your legacy (and smile) has made an everlasting impression on everyone that ever came to know you. You were a winner on the field.....a winner off the field....and now a winner on God's team!!
