When I think about Kasie, I can't help but smile! We had too much fun together and it all started our Freshman year of Appalachian State. We didn't know it but we had signed up for a crash course in Partying!! The class met Thursday through Sunday. Most of the time the class was held at the "The Brickhouse". We perfected many skills that we used throughout our College years. We learned the art of Playing cards, Dancing, Dressing up, Flirting, and Bonding with the Girls!!! One assignment Kasie and I had at a particular party was to guard the keg from anyone who had not paid the nominal fee to partake. Well, as you can imagine, Kasie never did anything half-way. So being the two "Tall Bodyguards" that we were, we flanked that keg on either side and proceeded to stand guard. Our arms were crossed at first and we were very serious about our assignment. After refreshing our own cups a few times, Kasie and I quickly found that by standing guard and checking hands for marks we could talk to all the cute boys!! What a great time we had together.

There is not a day that I don't think of Kasie Ford Capling. Most of the time it is a happy memory that makes me laugh and remember my friend that I had so much fun with. She is a big part of who I am today. I look at who I am and thank my friends for being such a strong driving force for me. Kasie was a friend that you could laugh with, cry with, dance with, talk with, and just be with!!! She was always there when it counted and that I will always remember.
