Cookie Dough

We all know that money was no object to Kasie when it came to any fundraiser for Phillip or any of our kids. You could always count on Kasie to order tons of stuff. Phillip attends the same pre-school that my children attend. The school has a cookie dough fundraiser during the fall. During Phillip's first year there, I warned Kasie to not get too carried away with selling cookie dough. Reason being that YOU are responsible for picking up and delivering all the frozen cookie dough pales you sold. Kasie was so excited about Phillip's first school fundraising event that she, of course, sold/ordered a huge amount of cookie dough. Well, delivery day came and I remember seeing Kasie standing next to SEVERAL tall stacks of cookie dough pales in the school hallway while I had a much smaller manageable stack. We just looked at each other and busted out laughing. She had a meeting that morning uptown and she only had 30 minutes to take all of it home, unload it to the fridge and get back uptown for her meeting. I helped her haul all the cookie dough to her Tahoe (good thing she had an SUV). In typical Kasie fashion, it was all totally worth it because it was for the kids. I miss her very much.
