Well Kasie would have been very proud of her not so little boy. Last Thursday Philip finished his first year at Providence Day "graduating" from TK. The year started with Philip cutting his own hair 4 weeks before school so we had to abandoned the "Kasie cut" as I have called it (long mop hair) for a more typical above the ear cut, made him look like a kid instead of a toddler. He loved school from day one! In typical Philip fashion within the first month he had a new girlfriend, Emily. They have become very good buddies! Philip's step sister Lauren is also in TK, different class, same school. Philip and Lauren are literally best friends, it has been great for them. Philip had three report cards during the year. He did great on everything except the teacher said sometimes he had a short attention span, big surprise, he is my son:) The year ended as it began, without a fuss, Philip and Lauren are looking forward to a fun filled summer at home with Manisa and baby Callie. Manisa had them make a list of things they wanted to do this summer and Philip's last one was "fart on daddy's head", that's my boy.

Kasie your little boy is growing up so fast, he asks me questions about you pretty much every day, from how you died to did he see you before you died. I always answer with the truth and he always listens with those big beautiful eyes he got from you staring at me, waiting for the next story:)
