On the way to school this morning Philip asked me if mommy was happy. This is the first question Philip has asked me about his mommy that I have had a hard time answering, truthfully because I don't know. I told him that heavan is a wonderful place and surely she was happy there. However, I told him I thought it would be difficult for his mommy to be truly happy without being able to be with him every day. Philip responded, "but she does see me every day, she watches me grow up and looks out for me, because mommy is an angel now". Philip had asked me the first question that ever stumped me and then just as quickly answered it better than I ever could have. I told him he was correct and promised him how proud she is that he has grown up to be such a good little boy. He laughed and giggled the rest of the way to school and I smiled.
